The Cuban Miracle

90 miles south of the United States is an Island that is being ravaged by a spiritual tsunami of God. We are seeing God work where man says He cannot. In this day and age no ideology or political climate is a match for God's supernatural power.

Our recent trip to Cuba (February 7-17, 2007) witnessed the miracle hand of our God move in great measure. 25 precious Cubans were born again, many healings and deliverances took place, Pastors and leaders were trained and encouraged, and church members lives were transformed.

Cuba Pictures We ministered in 50 churches over 10 days with great manifestations of the Spirit of God. Our hearts were overcome by the move of God in Cuba. There are over 1.5 million believers in Cuba. The work of God in this land is incredible and truly a miracle.

The Cubans are not only learning the Bible, but they are aggressively discipling others and are passionately embracing the call to become “Missionaries to other Nations.” God's light is beaming from the darkness of Cuba.

  • They now have 11,800 students, with 300 waiting for books.
  • The first 1,400 students will graduate in January, 2008. There will be six graduation ceremonies from Havana to the Guantanamo area.
  • The leaders of the Assembly of God are considering accepting their Bible school. This will give them another 10,000 students.
  • Eleven new Bible schools are ready to be started in Havana.
  • The Bible school is being taught in six Cuban prisons. Glory to God!
  • The Bible school is being taught to three blind persons. What a ministry!
  • One Cuban student moved to Europe, and is now teaching the Bible school to others in Germany!
  • A Bible school is being started at the Cuban University for fifty English speaking international students. (Statistics from Dr. Russ Frase)

Missionary Journey

Pastor Rhodes returned from his 8th trip to the Republic of Georgia and Armenia in September 2007 as two great conferences were hosted by Global Advance. We saw God's strategy unfold, His presence revealed, and His power expressed as the Word of the Lord was ministered to hundreds of pastors and key church leaders.

Darlene Rhodes hosted the very first Armenian Ladies Conference in Yerevan, Armenia in September 2006 with over 400 women in attendance. She hosted her second Ladies Conference in the Republic of Georgia again in September 2006 with well over 450 ladies in attendance. She also conducted a Ladies Conference in Kiev, Ukraine in September 2006.

August 2008

In August 2008 Pastors Darryl and Darlene participated in 3 Frontline Shepherd Conferences. Their first conference was held in Yerevan, Armenia. From there they traveled to Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania (Africa) for their second Leadership Conference. From Dar Es Salaam, their final Conference was held in Zanzibar, Tanzania.

These events are catalysts for church planting and indigenous missions efforts. Our aim is to provide national pastors and church leaders with a vision in their hearts for the advancement of the Gospel. It is our desire to help fulfill the Great Commission of Jesus Christ by empowering national church leaders to evangelize and disciple their own and surrounding nations.

We are privileged to be a part of the Global Advance network out of Dallas, TX. Global Advance hosts and sponsors over 100 Frontline Shepherds Conferences around the world. For more information about Global Advance please go to www.globaladvance.org.
